How to use & important info

How to use

1.Prepare: Wash hands with warm soap and water, then dry thoroughly.
2.Prepare Lancing Device: Remove the cap, insert a new lancet, twist off the safety cap, replace the cap, and adjust the puncture depth (usually 2-3 for average skin).
3.Insert Strip: Insert a test strip (contact bars first) into the port to power on the meter. The meter will display a blinking blood drop icon, indicating it is ready.
4.Lancing: Place the lancing device against the finger and press the button.
5.Apply Blood: Gently squeeze the finger to produce a blood drop. Touch the tip of the test strip to the blood drop. The meter will beep or show a countdown (5-1) when sufficient blood is applied.
6.Read Result: The blood glucose level will appear on the screen and automatically be stored in memory.
7.Discard: Remove the test strip and use the ejector to discard the lancet safely.
